Armadillidium Klugii - Clown Isopods

Armadillidium Klugii, commonly known as the Clown Isopod, is one of the most visually striking species in the hobby. Originating from the rocky coastal regions of Croatia and the Adriatic, they display a stunning combination of yellow, orange, and black patterning that truly earns them their colourful name.

A medium-sized Armadillidium species, Clown Isopods are moderately hardy and do best with a moisture gradient and warm temperatures. They are a rewarding species for keepers with some experience, and their bold colouration makes them a real centrepiece in any vivarium.
